New Year's resolutions are tricky. Are they realistic and achievable? Is it good to try to step outside one's comfort zone and try something new, take a chance? In making business decisions does one listen to their gut, follow instincts or listen to your customers - maybe a combination of both! In the midst of so much uncertainty in the market is it best to only consider what makes the most money? Well it's always a dilemma but DN5 is committed to all of the above - BUT most of all to be creative and have fun doing it. Enjoy!

Need a little lift to your day? I understand that feeling more and more lately as the days get shorter and shorter. Given our new way of going about our business we think twice about going to the store to buy a pick-me-up bouquet. If you do have a flower garden it's slim pickings this time of year. It was a collaborative affair with a chair...  Lawrence had been anguishing over what to do with his sad old dinged up and tattered mid-century chair. Believing in repurposing and up-cycling, a plan was put in motion. 

Living on Cape Cod is about fun in the sun but equally as important is ensuring our future ecologically AND preserving our historic past. Design No. Five‘s studio is part of Laughing Gull Hill and sits atop the hill overlooking Cotuit Harbor.
