New Year's resolutions are tricky. Are they realistic and achievable? Is it good to try to step outside one's comfort zone and try something new, take a chance? In making business decisions does one listen to their gut, follow instincts or listen to your customers - maybe a combination of both! In the midst of so much uncertainty in the market is it best to only consider what makes the most money? Hello there, I'm Beth founder and designer of Design No. Five's coastal inspired fabrics. I am often asked how I ended up as a textile designer. Well, the story spans three decades in the design world and time before that in the marketing and sales trenches. One benefit to age is that we finally get to do what we are truly good at doing and what we love to do.

It was a collaborative affair with a chair...  Lawrence had been anguishing over what to do with his sad old dinged up and tattered mid-century chair. Believing in repurposing and up-cycling, a plan was put in motion.
